Summer K-12 Chinese Language Teacher Training Program:
5 Weeks — June 16 to July 18, 2008:

PSSCA (Portland-Suzhou Sister City Association) offering $500 scholarship in honor of longtime PSSCA President Newcombe Wang to a student from China studying at PSU in Fall term 2008.—
President Wang was very mindful of how difficult it is for students from China to make their way to the USA to continue their education. He often helped these students during his lifetime, in the hopes that he could share some of the good fortune he had enjoyed by being able to immigrate to the USA as a young man.
